The winter sun streamed through your misted bedroom window. The sounds of daily life could be heard from outside. Your head rested upon a soft pillow, a warm blanket wrapped tightly around your shivering form. You fixated your gaze towards the sky as a sigh escaped your lips.
“I would get sick on a day like this” You moved your hand to your mouth to cough. Tears streamed down your face from the force. Wiping away the tears, you hear a knock at the door. You groan as you throw the blanket from over you to see who could be visiting. You shiver as your feet hit the cold floor. Taking your time, you shuffle over to the window and peek outside. To your surprise, Link, your boyfriend, was standing at your front door. He hadn’t mentioned coming to visit.
You take hold of the handle and slowly open the door.
“(Y/N), I wanted to see how you were. You seemed to be sick yesterday.”
You smiled slightly. He was always like this. Always worrying about your health and wellbeing.
“(Y/N), are you okay?” He tilted his head to the right, his eyes examining your face carefully.
“I’m just a bit sick, nothing to worry about.”
He nodded slowly. “Looks like I’m staying here then.”
“Wait, what?”
“I refuse to leave you on your own while you’re sick. Let me take care of you.”
He squeezed through the gap in the door, careful not to push it into you, and grasped your hand. Before you had a chance to react, you found yourself being pulled towards your bedroom. He flashed you a loving smile as he led you to your bed and helped you in, covering you with your blanket. Your cheeked flushed lightly as he bent down to kiss your forehead.
“Now, I don’t want you to get up until you are better. Okay?”
“But…”
“I mean it. I don’t want you to get worse by exhausting yourself. Just leave everything to me.”
He placed his hand on your cheek as a small smile graced your lips.
“You don’t need to. I can look after myself, besides, you probably have more important things to do”
“More important than you? No, never.”
A light blush spread across your pale cheeks as you felt his thumb rub your cheek.
“I’ll stay here with you until you get better. How about I make you something to eat? Despite feeling the way you do, you still need food.”
“Okay but let me help you” You dug your elbows into the soft mattress, attempting to push yourself into a seating position. His gently rested his hand on your chest to push you back down.
“No, I will do it. You’re sick and you need your rest.”
“Link…”
“Please (Y/N), I want to take care of you.”
You allowed him to push you back down, your eyes never leaving him. You nodded, giving in to his request. You were unsure if this was fair on him as he does have things to do, but you didn’t think he would offer to stay if he didn’t want to.
“I won’t be long. How does soup sound?”
“Delicious”
He span around to face the direction of your kitchen. Once he had left the room, you relaxed until a crash was heard. After a yell and what could on be described as panic, you heard him shout to you.
“Don’t worry! I meant to do that. I’ll just…clean it up”
Your hand flew to your mouth to attempt to suppress a giggle.
“Do you want me to help?”
“No, no! You stay there.”
You shook your head. He could be silly at times but that’s just something that you loved about him, one of many things. You turned to face your window, the morning sun hurt your eyes slightly, but that didn’t matter. You felt happy and you doubted anything could ruin that right now.
After a while, you are awoken by a kind voice speaking in your ear.
“(Y/N), wake up. I have soup for you.”
You yawn animatedly whilst attempting to remember when you had fallen asleep. A shiver ran up your spine as the rooms temperature appeared to be colder than before.
“Are you okay?”
“Just cold”
You heard a bowl being placed on the table beside your bed before the mattress compressed behind you. You turned around to see him now on the bed in front of you. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you towards his chest. You sigh as you begin to warm up. You felt his hand gently run up and down your arm in a comforting motion.
“I’ll stay here as long as you need me” He pressed his lips against your forehead for a second before wrapping you both in the blanket. Your eyelids began to close. Even though you had spent most of your day in bed, you were exhausted. At least you had your wonderful boyfriend beside you.

Wounds (Link X Reader)
It was a peaceful night in your village, placed not too far away from Hyrule's Castle Town. You were staring out your window and gazing up at the stars when you heard a faint knock on the door. You decided to ignore it, probably someone from the town coming to sell you something for Rupees you just don't have. You heard the knocking again, though it was a lot louder.
"(Naaaaaaaaaame)..." A familiar voice said, it sounded tired and weak.
"Link?" You instantly said, and rushed to the door. When you opened the door you couldn't help but gasp. Link was covered in wounds. Cuts across his arms, some on his legs, one across his face, but you notic

You stared into his stunning blue eyes, taking in every detail on his face. His blonde hair was in a tangled mess across his face, and he looked downright cute.
You smiled, flashing your teeth.
"I have to get up. Someone needs to." You said. You tried m
